Calderdale council are proposing new parking restrictions on every street within walking distance to the hospital. Not only is parking for staff and patients/relatives at the hospital a major issue at any time, the council is now proposing new limited, loading only, 4 hour & 2hr maximum pay and display, resident parking and no parking within every street, side street and car park near the hospital. How are staff meant to park for work on 7am – 9pm long day shifts?, relative visiting?, patient appointments? and A&E walking wounded supposed to park, not only this residents will now have to apply for permits. Ok people so Richard Binks (parking council) wants facts adding to this petition to make it acceptable this his his statement 'For information your scheme description is inaccurate, there is actually more all day parking than time limited  parking proposed. Statistically there are 213 all day bays vs 73 4hr bays and 102 free 2hr bays.There is of no problem with organising an objection petition, however the facts must be presented correctly for obvious reasons.Best Regards

So Is that clear we will have 213 free all day bays for the 1000s staff  as the limited spaces are not suitable for us 7-12hr shift workers unless you want a fine, 4hrs may be ok if your have a appointment n thats if clinic running on time, and if your in a&e and the 4hr breach applies!!! 2hr bays are pointless but councils happy are you all happy now?????? I think not.
