Professor Su's policy of no calculators on exams has caused me undue time and stress on previous exams. I believe that this added burden during the exams has affected my performance so that it is not a fair representation of my understanding of the actual course material, or at least has distracted me from the more relevant economic principals.
I believe that being able to use a non-programmable calculator on the final exam would shift the outcome from a representation of my arithmetic skills to a representation of my understanding of Energy Economics.
I would be willing to use a calculator off an approved list, and/or get my calculator verified with a gold sticker from the Engineering department on 6th floor ETLC.
