After months of speculation surrounding a possible C30R, details have been leaked of a 300bhp or 350bhp AWD C30 scheduled for production November 2009. Recent information suggests the C30R has been cancelled. We, the undersigned, as either fans of the Volvo brand or as potential owners of the C30R hereby strongly request Volvo reconsiders and indeed starts production of the C30R very soon. We feel the Volvo brand can handle a new range of R series models across the lineup. The Volvo Car brand can handle the sporty R series range! It adds extra coolness and attractiveness to the brand. To cancel the C30R is a HUGE mistake.
