We, the undersigned, support the passage of NY State Senate Bill S95. The purpose of this bill is to reduce plastic waste and pollution. By banning plastic carry out bags and placing a ten cent fee on paper and reusable carry out bags provided by the store, we will not only protect our environment, the fees collected will help fund pollution reduction, cleanup, education, and the purchasing and distribution of reusable bags.
