Please sign to help us build an indoor skate park in the bronx. Many of our skate spots are being closed down and it would be a great idea to build a spot that is year round for skateboarders and in liners. The idea of building an indoor skate park would be very beneficial to our community in many ways:Gives skaters / inliners a place to skate, and takes kids off the street.Provides a safe training facility for children.Fight against obesity in children. Provides a recreational environment for children.An indoor skate park provides a year-round activity center for everyone. Building an indoor skate park would be beneficial to the youth. If an indoor skate park is built it would be the first ever open to the public skate park in New York. It will be free and opened to all ages. Also it may help attract attention from ESPN and other sports organizations to NYC which will later on lead to many competitions being held there. This would be good because it will attract people to come to these competitions in the Bronx which would then lead to stores making more money in our area, this would lead to a boost in our economy.
