We, the undersigned, petition the city of Darien and its Athletic Director to allocate for two assistant swim coaches with commensurate salary for each, for the Darien High School Girls Swim Team starting this fall 2015.

Over the last several years, the Darien High School Girls Swim and Dive Team had an allocation of funds to pay the coaching salary of one head coach for the dive team, one head coach for the swim team and one assistant coach for the swim team. In prior years, the fund allocated for the one assistant swim coach was split between the two assistants.

We respectfully request that your office seek from the Board of Education to fully fund two paid girls swim team coaching assistants by the official start of the fall 2015 Darien High School Girls Swim and Dive season.
