To the Master Planning Group, Provost and President of Butler University: We the undersigned faculty, staff and students wish to express grave concerns with the identified Master Plan for the move of the Science library to Irwin. In the interest of students and faculty, it is moved that collections, reference services and the trained science librarian remain available in the current area for students in our programs and the sciences. We affirm the good job that has been done by the science library over many years. We want the science librarians to be near the students and faculty in both the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and in Gallahue so that one-on-one bibliographic instruction and other services may be offered to students.
