This Petition is intended to make PennDOT officials aware of the deplorable road conditions of Butler Avenue (aka Business RT 202). Multiple attempts have been made by Chalfont Borough and its surrounding communities as to the condition of Butler Avenue, which have gone ignored. PennDOT has been aware of the deteriorated road surface for years and continues to ignore the hazardous condition of
the of this thoroughfare the danger of which has now been compounded by
recent water main replacement being conducted by Agua.
Vehicles as crossing over the double yellow lines veering into oncoming traffic in their efforts to avoid the most dangerous areas. It's only a matter of time before until a serious accident occurs. Large potholes have flattened numerous tires and destroyed wheel rims.
As local residents, tax and toll payers that use this road to commute to work, school and local businesses on a daily basis we are asking PennDOT to begin a complete road resurfacing project of the portion of Butler Pike that runs through Cahlfont when weather permits in the Spring of 2021.

The feedback I have received from neighbors confirms that we are all experiencing the same frustration with the state of Butler Avenue. I am currently documenting the most recent damage reports to ensure that when we present our concerns to the officials they cannot overlook the reality of the hazard on our road.

As a resident living on this road for over 50 years, PennDot really need a to address major paving deficiencies through Chalfont Borough.
This is a major safety hazard and must be fixed asap. Chalfont boro councilman Mitchell Meyerson
