As concerned Millcreek area residents, we feel the urgent need for new zoning ordinances in our area to prevent the incompatible construction that is happening at an alarming rate in our neighborhood. I am in support of the Concerned Citizens' Committee (BuildWise) and their mission statement: "To establish standards for new construction, additions, and alterations of principal and accessory residential structures within Millcreek Township. The goal is to encourage compatibility between new construction, additions, or alterations and the existing character and scale of the surrounding neighborhood. These standards promote a desirable residential neighborhood character. The standards allow for flexibility of design while providing compatibility with existing development patterns within the Millcreek Township community."
