Community come together!!!
It is called BUILD THE STAGE!!!! This is an effort to develop the unused land around the Riverfront Park, next to the Sundial Bridge. The stage was built many years ago. It is time for an update from the city!!! This venue is beautiful. Half of the land surrounding the park is nothing but weeds and overgrowth. Lets get the city to develop the rest of the Riverfront park. It will over double in size!!! With a nice updated stage, this could be a great venue!! If you want to support this effort please join this group! Also help us get signatures to bring to the city! I think it's a great idea and if the trees behind it could be chopped down and used as wooden benches and you could see the Sundial behind the stage. I would so get married there!!!!
If we don't have a safe stage, then we don't have a great place and a great event to enjoy. This is a place for kids, family and friends to get together. Let's get a safe stage built for great interainers.
We need more stages and venues. This town needs more places to his events !! Always thought that this stage needed to be utilized more.
Sorry I accidentally hit delete instead of reply............ Alecia Barnett- This would be really great for Redding. I grew up in Washington state and Seattle has a stage. Think about it, the schools can bring their junior performers to the park! People would love to see this! Reply- Yes, the city would have a great new area to use for numerous occasions!
At the age of almost 40, looking back now, this stage has brought great memories to mind.
I'm all for it!
Lets build upon what we have and make a beautiful area for the people of Redding and visitors!

Yes it would be nice to clean up the invasive non native blackberry bushes ! and the stray cats that are killing the native birds1
