This petition is to make a skatepark in Dalyellup, Western Australia.
There are MANY reasons on why Dalyellup needs a skatepark, Heres some
- The growing crime rate in Dalyellup will be reduced due to the youth having somewhere to "hang out" and skate
- Due to rapid growth of dalyellup and many young people moving to the area, Skating, Scootering and Rollerbading kids will have a plae to go
- Kids will not have to unsafely cross the Highway to get to Gelorup skatepark
- Alot of the general public think that a skatepark in dalyellup would be a great investment
So please, Shire Of Capel. Consider building a skatepark in Dalyellup

I was looking at the screen and honestly just stopped breathing for a second because I keep seeing new names popping up and it feels like this might actually turn into a real park where we can all go instead of trying to find flat ground near the shops. People keep telling me they agree about the highway being way too dangerous for the younger kids and it is just so wild to see this many people actually wanting the same thing.

With so many kids and teenagers living in Dalyellup now, and the amount we now pay on rates, a skate park for our kids should be done. There are NO safe crossings for them to get to gelorup, and no where suitable in Dalyellup itself.
Yes my 3 kids would love it, I am always having to travel to other towns so my kids can spend hours playing.. This would be great in Dalyellup.. This also might lower the crime rate as kids would have something to do
This would be a great idea for the kids, stop them from getting up to mischief when they are bored. Get the kids involved with the artwork that way the taggers cant ruin it for the rest
So many lovely parks and open grassed areas but nothing for kids over 10. Please put up a skate park in Dalyellup
My boys love to scooter . This takes them off all technology and gives their brains the fresh air they need and also builds network with other friends with the same hobbies. Unfortunately we cant always cross the highway to get there and its very unsafe for them to try this on their own. Our community youth could really benifit from a skate park in Dally.
A dalyellup skatepark will be great for everyone

Bmx changed my life I learnt life skills now I am 21 and because of box I have two trades behind me and big bright future ! I believe a skatepark brings the young community together help those who could be doing stuff illegal they can be at the park shredding it up on there box
