Let's tell the City of Richardson leaders that we want an indoor pool in Richardson. Currently the city offers aquatics for 3 months of the year in the form of 45 to 50 year old facilities. This leaves our citizens to travel to Plano, Allen, Rockwall, and Frisco to swim year round. The primary affected groups include youth competitive swimmers, senior citizens, and all regular working folks who want to engage their physical fitness desires through aquatics. Having a year-round facility would allow programs such as, enhanced youth competitive programs, expanded water aerobics, masters teams, and open lap swimming.
