Bangor University intends to charge all students graduating in July 2012 £12 per ticket for guests, and you can have up to two guests per student. But, the University has charged us over £10,000 in tuition fees over the past three years. We have to buy our own course books, pay for our own trips and additional courses and much more. Not to mention the huge subsidy that the government provides for every student on top of the tuition fees. So why should we have to pay for our graduation gowns and guest tickets? Other Universities in the UK do not charge for these things. If you believe that this is an injustice and do not wish to pay then sign this petition and I will take it to the top.
