The city of Waterloo, Iowa is considering enforcing Breed Specific Legislation. It goes without saying that the banning of American Pitbull Terriers will be the primary target of this law. We aim to prevent this from happening. Our goal in producing this petition is to simply display the positive support the community has for this beautiful breed. It is unfortunate that many faulty owners have driven society to believe that this breed is unfit to be raised as a family pet, but what society has chosen to ignore is the fact that these animals have not raised themselves. Ban the deed not the breed. It is up to us to shed a more positive light on these gorgeous creatures. We cannot allow them to take away the pets that we have raised in our homes amongst our children, and deem them as dangerous. We have to rise up against this label that they have so eagerly placed upon this breed. We have to get the word out. Without you we will lose.

Please, sign this petition and help us earn the respect that we deserve as Pitbull owners. Please send this to each and everyone you know. This is our time to make a stand against this ridiculousness. Let’s give them a run for their money.
