MBRC (Moreton Bay Regional Council) want to declare my dog dangerous when he isn’t at all! For those of you who know my dog Bruce and his Brother Odin, you will know that they aren’t dangerous at all! For those who don’t know them, well they are staffyx and around 3 years of age. I want the MBRC to revoke their decision as my dog has been wrongly accused of something he didn’t do... We have 2 cats who live and play with our dogs and not once have they been hurt by our dogs. The main reason why I want them to revoke this decision is because even tho his not trained nor registered as a helping dog, he helps my mum who’s a disable get around the house when she needs and alert us to any problems before we even know it’s there ourselves. Soo please sign the petition so MBRC have to revoke their decision. His been my bestfriend since I got him as a puppy. If he gets classified I won’t be able to afford how high the jump in rego and the excess MUST DO for a DANGEROUS DOG!
The past few days have been draining as I navigate the demands of official council paperwork while trying to keep Bruce calm at home. I am still here fighting this decision because the reality is that the proposed classification would ruin our lives before it even begins.

Reaching this level of support feels heavy because it reminds me of how much Bruce means to people who have never even met him. The road ahead with the council is still exhausting but seeing this momentum gives me the grit to keep fighting for him.

Bruce is innocent leave him with his happy family ! it's cruel that you would consider destroying tearing apart the bond between Bruce and owner, without Concreate evidence to prove him otherwise.

Bruce is a lovely dog, has never hurt a soul in the world, just because bruce is a large dog dosent mean he is dangerous.
Dont look a dog and assume they are dangerous, get to know them before you declare the dog is dangerous. Otherwise thats judging a book by its cover.

I have known Those dogs for three years. They love cuddles and attention there is no way they are dangerous. In the three years of knowing the dogs they have not once jumped up or showed any signs of being dangerous.

I have been terrified of large dogs since a friend of mine got attacked by a large dog and also my foster father but Bruce is my confidence and companionship and is so gentle
