The brockton triangle is a vibrant & diverse community which is constantly developing to keep up with the needs of it's residents. One need which has been continually overlooked is the need for an off leash area for the many dogs which reside in this and the surrounding area. Unfortunately, in all of Ward 18 there is not one dog park for the residents to use and this provides a big daily challenge for pet owners who want to be responsible and socialize their animals in a safe & law abiding environment. We hope that you will sign this petition in order to raise awareness within the municipality. Working together with our city councilor, we hope to create a functioning dog park in our neighbourhood and in turn create a community which serves all people in a more efficient manner.
Reaching this level of support has been exhausting but deeply validating. It shows I am not the only one feeling the weight of this daily struggle for our dogs. We have miles to go yet but I am not turning back now.

It would be so nice to meet neighbors while the dogs play. Great idea.
