We, the students of The University of Nottingham’s Broadgate Park Halls of Residence, petition to show our anger and frustration, after what we believe was an admin/communication error left almost 2,000 students off of the electoral registers in Broxtowe and Nottingham South.
With Broxtowe being such a marginal seat, our vote could have made a difference. It is our democratic right to vote and this was taken away from us!

The momentum surrounding our petition reflects the collective frustration of students who were denied their right to participate in the democratic process. Seeing so many people recognize the gravity of this administrative failure affirms that the demand for accountability is growing.

my vote counts just as much as anyone elses. they had one job and they messed it up for everyone at broadgate.
so angry about this. we pay enough in rent to at least be on the register. fix this mess

i was one of the people who couldnt vote and im fuming right now. absolute joke
Ridiculous that this happened. How can they just lose 2000 names? Disgraceful.

SERIOUSLY. I checked my registration like three times and still got completely ignored.
