The Brisbane Internation Speedway (formerly archerfield speedway) has been in the community since 1978. We who sign this believe that any changes to the current system that either shuts the venue down or decreases times of operation is not satisfactory. This venue brings in money and jobs to the local community not to mention the comradery and friendship that happens at the events. I was out at the track recently just watching the cars and thinking about how much history is trapped in that dirt and honestly it makes me angrier than ever that anyone would even consider closing it down. People keep emailing me their own stories about races from twenty years ago and it is pretty clear that this place is way more than just a business to all of us.

Awesome track. Fix it not close it.
Been going to Archerfield since I was a kid. You cant just close down history because of a few noise complaints. Keep it open!
Seriously? Just leave it alone. Its been there since 78 people know what they are getting into when they move nearby.
My family goes here every weekend its our favorite thing to do. So many memories here.

Need more places like this not less. The local economy needs the business and us guys need somewhere to race.
