All I can say is that three of my children had Mr. Tran while at Ralston. He is an amazing teacher. Why anyone in their right mind would complain about him; and why anyone would even take the complaint into consideration is mind baffling. Of course, the way society is today...children and people playing the "victims," and our society supporting this mindset, I am not surprised. Our schools need more teachers like Mr. Tran, kind people who CARE about their students. Mr. Tran, if you read this, our family supports you 100%. Remember, NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST YOU WILL PROSPER! God has your back! The Viveros family loves you!!!

Mr. Tran is a tough but great teacher. He brings more to the classroom than just mathematical concepts - he tries to teach kids how to grow up to be great adults. He is the epitome of tough love and hearing this case is very disheartening. You won't like everything he does but that doesn't mean it isn't right or justified. I hope we can bring him back to the GGUSD school district because he's such an incredible teacher.

Mr. Tran was one of the best Math teachers I had growing up, he taught everyone not just math but other things we should expect to happen in life. He always voiced his opinion and helped his students however he could, there is no reason for him to be fired when he should get the respect he deserves for being such a good teacher.

Honestly, Mr. Tran was a great geometry teacher when I had him in 8th grade. It's really sad and disappointing that his new students are so petty that they're report him for scolding them with good intentions. He only wants teach and help his students. He's taught me, and my brother— and my brother's 10 years older than me. This man has been teaching for so long and that's what he's good at. Why would you try to ruin his life for such a stupidly petty reason.

My support stands with Mr. Tran -- It takes a certain kind of student to earn the moniker of "bad" from Mr. Tran

As someone who had Mr. Tran five years ago, I scratch my head at the middle school's efforts to paint him as a menace with a warning — an image that strays too far from who he really is.
He's made quesadillas and pasta for his classes. Bought cheeseburgers from Burger King for our fifth period class. Played thirteen with his students not just 'cause, but because he cares about his students. Also holds fair judgment towards his pupils, should they do something wrong.
This case was no exception. I don't know who these "bad kids" are, but if Mr. Tran gave them that moniker, they must have dropped the ball too hard. He'd never make an unfounded or unfair derision of anyone, and to suggest otherwise would simply be unfair to the work Mr. Tran has put into teaching students at Ralston for years.
Mr. Tran, I'm with you. Let's bring you over to Grove.
