I don’t have mr. Tran but from the time I have interacted with him he seems to be such a nice man that doesn’t deserve this

Mr Tran was a really great teacher back when I took his Geometry class back in 15-16 and it helped me love math. Sure he calls you a bad kid, but that should be seen as encouragement to do better in his class. My peers from Geo and I from 15-16 are where we are today thanks to him. There is no reason for Mr Tran being fired because of all the good he has done for his students. (Cough* I love your food Mr. Tran)

Inspiration in my career choices and love for math.

Mr. Tran is an excellent Algebra teacher and is aware that although math is a hard subject, he tries to be funny and keeps a smile on his students. He is a very knowledgeable and caring person! Very unfortunate to see him go.

Mr. Tran is an amazing math teacher! One if the only teachers I've had where I understood what was going on in math! We need more math teachers that know how to teach! He may seem strict but it's just because he cares about you.

I've learned many lessons from Mr. Tran, but more importantly he taught me how to act responsibly, how to put my all into what I do, and how to respect those who put their effort into teaching us. I'm disappointed to hear that this new generation seems so thin skinned and disrespectful. I hope his name is cleared and GGHS sees him for who he is.

People make mistakes from time to time. We all have a bias. Usually we can keep our opinion separate from work but slips happen. Honestly some of the best teachers are the ones with a little bit of a rough edge. They challenge you and all you'll see is negativity at first but behind all that they support you more than you know. It's really sad when teachers and students only see each other as a number. Numbers are forgotten, not mentors. I wish the best for Mr Tran.

Mr. Tran was such an AMAZING teacher. he used to always tell us to keep going and just motivated the heck out of us. He not only helped everyone keep their good grades, but rewarded us which I greatly appreciate!

Mr.Tran is the best teacher ever! He’s the reason why I did so good in algebra because he prepared all his classes in 8th grade

Mr. Tran was the most passionate and caring teacher i've ever had. He will always be one of my most favorite teachers ever. He was always willing to do his best for his students and even when THEY WERE FAILING AND IT WASN'T HIS FAULT, he made the time to help them pass. NO WORDS can describe how angry I am at the kid who would do such a thing as petty as this. He was respected by his kids and even with the occasional delinquent he always dealt with everyone fairly and equally. This man has gone through so much in all of his years of teaching and the fact that he still has patience for his students each year and still has the passion to teach and care is amazing. Mr. Tran does not deserve to be fired for this. He is too good of a man.

I had Mr. Tran as an educator about 8 years ago, and still remember him as a very influential teacher during my junior high years. He truly does put so much effort into what the subjects that he teaches (geometry and woodshop for me) and although he probably doesn't remember me, I do remember what he did for us as students. His famous jambalaya pasta or paying out of pocket for wood (since some students couldn't) so we could continue to make projects throughout the year, or putting extra time after school if you struggled in class. Amazing teacher!

I am seriously furious about what happened to Mr. Tran! I hope and pray that he can keep his job, or that I can get him again in GGHS.
