Softball is a sport where women can really excel. I have been playing my whole life. 31 yrs. Started at age 3 and played in college. Now I play for fun with my softball family. It my life just like it's these girls lives. Bring it back. Don't keep our girls dreams away.
If they have baseball then it's only fair to have softball. If not then how is that not sexual discrimination being displayed for the entire world and what kind of message does that send to little girls everywhere?
please bring softball back to the olympics so that I can watch my daughter represent our country just as her father has while fighting for it.
In order for girls to succeed, they need to develop confidence. Softball is a sport that will instill good self esteem and leadership into girls worldwide, and not only shapes ball players, but successful young women as well.
Softball takes a tremendous amount of talent, effort and skill to be able to play and our USA team dominates on the field. So why not bring it back to the Olympics where it belongs? You cannot tell me that curling and ping pong need more training than softball does.
Bring it back!

Growing up watching the Olympic softball players always gave me something to look forward to and strive for, something I could play for the rest of my life as a career. But now unlike the boys who can make millions playing the sport they love, we must give up our passion in order to enter the workforce so we can support ourselves.
