Baseball has always been known as 'America's game' and 2011 saw it added to the World Police & Fire Games in New York for the first time. 12 teams competed in the 2011 games (including teams from Australia and Canada) and was an all round success. The 2015 games are being held in Fairfax, USA and amazingly Baseball has not been included despite strong interest from multiple teams around the world. Requests have been made to games organizers in attempt to have Baseball added to the 2015 games, but the usual response is that Baseball is not going to be added and for us to play Softball instead. This is like telling a Tennis player to play Badminton or Table Tennis! The aim of this petition is to show organizers that there is strong interest from competitors wishing to play Baseball and that people (even non-players) think 'America's game' should be part of the 2015 WPFG.
