Mr. Smith is hard working teacher; always standing up for what's right and what he believes in. He was not given a contract to return to Galena Park ISD due to the fact that the he values students learning instead of "just passing" and not retaining any information. Smith is a teacher unlike any other. He truly loves and cares for every student even if they aren't a student of his. Smith is an impactful teacher that loves to touch the future everyday and should be allowed to do that at the school of his choice, North Shore Senior High School.

Mr. Smith is one of the best teachers, just because he had a high failing rate doesn't mean he doesn't know how to teach it just means students were too lazy to care and he gave them what they deserved and teached them that in order to get something you need to earn it.
Mr. Smith was the best teacher I've ever had. Sincerely he's a great teacher and truly cares for his students. His primary goal was for his students to retain information and not forget it within weeks of learning it. I truly believe he's a beyond great math teacher.
Mr. Smith is a one of a kind teacher. He actually cared. In our system, we easily get passed but that will affect our future, but Mr. Smith was against that. He was the only teacher to actuall challenge us in a way that we actually want to learn and strive to be better.
Mr smith is the best teacher I have ever had and he puts in long hours after school to help students even if its just 1 or 2 students, he deserves to stay and help north shore become a better school. He stands up for what is right and gets in trouble for it. Please keep mr.smith here so students can have a great teacher next year.
He made me laugh and made my day brighter because he always reminded me that I had the potential to be a leader someday and he never judge me just gave me words of encouragement

Mr. Smith really made an impact on my son McKinley. His teaching is different but he really cares about his students and also teaches them lessons about life. Please reconsider giving him a contract. If not, I think it will be a huge loss to our children.
