I think it's time to come with some drastical measures to improve the music for the 22nd James Bond film. Today's news about a certain Finnish rocker Ville Valo made me feel worried about the direction of David Arnold's music for Bond 22. Okay, I understand it's way too early to start rumours about the music for Bond 22, but let's not forget David Arnold's work for the past Bond films wasn't exactly that good. From all film elements of Casino Royale, I consider the film music an extreme low. It was a complete disappointment for me. Apparently, David Arnold doesn't have the creativeness and musical skills to compose memorable, melodical film scores for the Bond series. And because David Arnold is already assigned for Bond 22, I strongly urge Bond veteran Don Black to re-assign Dame Shirley Bassey again for the 22nd James Bond film. No rockers with exhausted carreers anymore! No lack of creativeness anymore! No bad recycled film scores anymore! Bring Dame Shirley Bassey back!
