The tradition of the James Bond movie theme-song --- a tradition spanning 53 years and 24 films -- is much beloved and oft-debated among film and music fans. While there is rarely specific agreement as to which songs are the best, some are clearly better than others. A bad theme song will ultimately sully the holistic movie-going experience. That said, Sam Smith's song "Writing's On The Wall" -- the theme written performed for the film Spectre -- is horrible.
We, the movie-going public and the James Bond fans in particular, deserve and demand better. We want the next James Bond theme song to be written and performed by none other than Nick Cave.
Bonus: Mr. Cave could also be cast in a villainous role in the next film as well.
Nick cave is the only guy who could pull off that dark moody bond vibe. seriously sam smith was a snoozefest.
