In the year 2007, the Pittsburgh Steelers changed the number style on their uniforms from a powerful block font, to a rounded styled font. It is our hope that this change will be reconsidered and that the team will return to the block numbering style used in the 60\'s through 1996. In the least, we hope that a permanent 3rd (or alternate) jersey can and will be adopted using this jersey design.

The block numbers are iconic. The new font looks like an arena league team. Just go back to the classic look already.
