For those of us living in Yuba City whom may be considering, or have been active in regards to their personal health for years, there's not much to choose from here. A Trader Joe's here would allow everyone the chance to shop for our groceries in the most affordable, practical way.
As of a few years ago, Trader Joe's had gone on the record stating that there just wasn't a market for them here, despite there being two health food stores already. Both are great, but can be on the pricey side, which is where Trader Joe's comes in. There are a lot of unique and wondrously delicious products that you can only find at a TJ's, and currently, we Yuba City folk have to drive over an hour out of our way to reach the closest store, which isn't sustainable if we'd like to go more than twice a month.
By signing this petition, you will be lending your voice to an important cause that has the potential to enrich our community, open up possibilities for employment for job seekers (and even artists), and most importantly, offer healthy eating options at an affordable rate. Trader Joe's would do well in Yuba-Sutter because it is a community that is way over a hundred thousand plus and it's still growing and very affordable and there is only one other health food store in our area and it is very expensive Trader Joe's with benefit in this area and do well.
Please, please put a store in Yuba City, CA. We need a better store that sells healthy food. It gets hot here and aside from the fact that you have to drive 35 miles in bad traffic to get to the nearest one, it's hard to keep food cold enough to bring it home safely.
With 5 kids i feel like i need the best and most healthy food for them, having a trader's Joes in yuba city would make many of us really happy.
I love traders Joe! When I lived out in Sacramento that was the store I would shop at. Now that I live out in Yuba City I have to do my shopping else where. It would be nice to have a traders Joe here!
I drive to Roseville to shop at Trader Joe's. Please bring one to Yuba City. We are surrounded by smaller communities that would also come to TJs...don't go by just the demographics of Yuba City alone.
I know multiple people who live in Yuba City, and being that I am an avid Trader Joe's customer, I deeply feel for the residents who want to have a TJ's located in their area. Please bring Trader Joe's to Yuba City. Thank you!

Trader Joes would boost the local economy. Providing jobs and some more affordable healthy meals. There are so many locals I personally know who drive out of town just to shop at Trader Joes.
