I don't know Sam but I have heard of her wonderful work from one of her students who would very much like to see her back at the Chase. At the end of the day... one needs to question exactly what education is. It's not merely the input of information... it's assisting children to draw out what is within (root meaning). Addressing the emotional well being of children is an important part of this process. I hope she returns for the sake of the children.

Sam has always been an amazing asset to the school and why she was ever made redundant I will never understand! Maybe if she was still there she could of prevented what happened today, but she went out of her way for this school and the fact that she was back there today without being asked because she was well and truly needed! She should be given her job back and she should have security on it this time!

Sam is a fantastic councillor who has help me personally though rough patches I'm my life, and has helped many, many others through a variety of different situations and circumstances. She was an incredible asset to the school and even after her redundancy she had continued to be such a great help to individuals through her own scheme Safe With Sam.

She was a pivotal member of staff for me, and so many other people. She helped so many people with various issues ranging in severity, its safe to say that if she didnt help then I may not be here.

I am not a student, in fact far from it but an independent councillor who can listen to a child's needs in times of stress is very important, Sam Morris is a very fine and dedicated person, I have every reason to know, schools may save a penny or two in the short term but now possible irreparable damage has been dealt to the schools reputation, and some parents may remove the school from their choices which will reduce the schools income and so reduce the amount saved by not employing someone who was a valuable staff member

Although I did not attend the chase, I revived counselling from Sam for a couple of years. She changed my life and helped me through so much I cannot even begin to thank her enough for everything. As a young sufferer of depression and anxiety I have been through allot along with other sufferers and it kills me to think that a
