The administration reversed the decision and the game is back on the calendar. I am exhausted by the fight, but I am glad we held our ground. Keep an eye on the schedule to ensure they follow through.

Final supporters
Powder Puff has been a tradition in our school for the longest time, and is always something we look forward to at the pep rallies. Those boys work hard to bring us something that we love and enjoy. Our school is not a dictatorship, we are supposed to all have a say in what goes on in our school. We have a student council for a reason, and for Mr. Hoyt to completely get rid of something that we love because it makes him feel uncomfortable, is unreasonable. If there is such a problem with Powder Puff, then we can come up with solutions to solve it instead of being rash and getting rid of it.

I have spent days trying to get a straight answer out of the administration but the doors remain firmly shut. It is exhausting to fight for a tradition that brings us together while being ignored by the people in charge. We are not backing down just because they refuse to listen.

As a person who choreographed the dance, I can tell you that we changed so much of the dance from the beginning so it would be appropriate!
As an alumnus of MHS, I am appalled that the tradition of Powder Puff Football was taken away. Anything that builds camaraderie and community should be encouraged. This activity was one of these activities.
This has been a tradition for all four years of my high school experience. I would hate to see this being taken away from the new students. They really enjoy watching it because its funny.
as a former powder puff cheerleader I'm here to say bring it back. Its a blast and everyone loves it!
Ridiculous that powder puff was taken away for the reason it was. Disappointed in Mr.Hoyt & MHS administration.
Bring back powder puff damnit.
I officially veto Mr. Hoyt's attempt to get rid of powderpuff cheerleading. I n fact, I think we should make him take part in it next semester so he can truly discover how fun it really is. I'll make that an executive order.

What the heck. If it were girls doing this, it would become absolutely okay. No one would blink an eye while people sexualized women. When guys do it, it's nasty and should never be done again. Think again.
