For many years the Outdoors community which is very closely tied to conservation and protection of the South Africa wildlife and ecosystems have been under-serviced in terms of television offerings. With the recent demise of the ESPN offerings (Beau Knows Outdoors, Under Wild Skies, Whitetail Country, etc) we are now left largely high and dry.

We, the undersigned, petition DSTV to establish an Outdoor Activity channel covering programs such as gun dog training, hunting, survival, conservation, gaem ranch management, reloading, bow hunting, duck shooting, clay pigeon shooting, equipment reviews, breeding of wild species, game ranching, breeding of working dogs, competition news, gunsmithing and reloading information.
