As parents we make mistakes, we are human, but as a teacher, Ms.Casey has always had the best interest of our children in mind.
Losing her would be a detriment to the lives and futures of our children.
While the principal claims in her correspondence that the school "put the interest of [our] children first," many of us disagree.

The momentum generated by this petition has surpassed my initial expectations. It is clear that many people recognize the value Ms. Casey brings to our school community.

Ms. Casey did nothing wrong. She is the main reason we chose St. Andrews. Making her leave in the middle of the school year would be a huge disruption to the entire class and staff at St. Andrews. I do not believe firing her is ' putting our children first''. This will have a huge negative impact on the children. I understand Ms. Martin is doing what she thinks is best, but her solution is Not what's best for our children.
I for one believe the action that has been taken is to harsh. I trust Mrs. Casey with my child and have full confidence that she would not harm him in any way. I understand the mother/child and teacher/student tight rope she has to walk with her son and sympathize with her. I know we have all been there in the moment with our own children and in that moment you are always a parent first.
I feel Ms. Casey is an attribute to St, Andrews and I feel she was treated unfair. My daughter has not been in her class for several years , and Mr Casey is still always pleasant to me in passing. St. Andrews please reconsider your actions
This is terrible news! Mrs Casey is a good teacher. She is an asset to St. Andrews.
Ms. Casey is such a caring and patient teacher. She has done such a great job with the preschool program. Please bring her back!
Mrs. Casey is a wonderful teacher. I felt she showed every child love every day. She made learning fun for our children. She is an exceptional teacher.

I've been working there after school for three and a half years now Ms. Casey is one of the nicest, most polite, people I have come across. In those three years, I've witnessed nothing but positive actions conducted by her. She helps out almost everyday with after school care by helping them go outside, cleaning up after them, etc. I feel that in a school that teaches forgiveness and other virtues they'd like their students to exhibit, it's hypocritical to hand out such a harsh punishment for something I would not even consider a lack of judgement. So why deal a punishment so harshly to someone who not only devotes her time to the kids during school, but willingly after school, as well. Common logic, executed even at its most simplistic level, should bring back.
