On November 19, 2014 parents of St. Andrew School preschool students received notice from the principal, via an emailed letter, that "Ms. Casey [would] no longer [be the] Pre-K teacher." The circumstances surrounding her dismissal were not divulged in the letter.
Parents later learned that the incident surrounding her dismissal was related only to Ms. Casey and her son.
As parents we make mistakes, we are human, but as a teacher, Ms.Casey has always had the best interest of our children in mind.
Losing her would be a detriment to the lives and futures of our children.
While the principal claims in her correspondence that the school "put the interest of [our] children first," many of us disagree.
