We need to share our voice and let NARAS know that this is not fair and that they need to give a 'voice' to jazz on the actual show. Jazz is America's music, and as an American awards show, I agree fully with Jaijai and this petition to leave some room to showcase it on the evening Grammy Awards show. Bring back quality artistry and class to this prestigious yearly event.
Jazz is America's Original Art Form. Jazz is timeless, it is pure and it is worthy of specific and individual recognition in catagories of performance and composition to say the least. Please restore Jazz to the Grammy show and show proper respect to the genre. Thank you.
Anybody can make a song about sex. All you have to do is speak from your private parts. But to make a Jazz piece requires heart, mind and soul. If we remove Jazz from the music scene and we do not recognize it's significance in the very spirit of all mesic, we lose everything.

Jazz, an ageless genre of musical expression with notables that span the globe! Based on what I saw of the Grammy's, the void was noticeable. If you delete something, it should NEVER be JAZZ or GOSPEL music, the backbone of the ages and our existence.....

As host of a global jazz broadcast i feel jazz belongs in the main (televised) part of the Grammy's. Jazz has played a major role in my musical sentiments and this has sparked my creating a radio show for in the first place.
