Half the people on Facebook don't use their real names, and that's ok, but someone as awesome as Granny Goodwitch, who even receives mail under that name, can't, that's just wrong. Why does Facebook even care?

Granny Goodwitch has every right to protect her personal identity while continuing her good works. The FB measure to have 'real names' attached to FB posts was supposed to help avoid spammers and trolls, not punish good people doing good things.

I understand the rationale for the policy, but certainly for personalities like this there should be exceptions. This page is not abuse. It's entertaining, insightful, and creative. It belongs on Facebook, as does Granny Goodwitch.

Dear Facebook, there's a difference between allowing anybody to sign up with any name and policing people's well-known and widely used stage names, author names, etc. Grrrh. Stop it.
