Today, at 1:05PM, we were informed that Dr. Voznyy would not be returning to PACE for the remainder of the term and upcoming year. This is incredibly shocking, and we, as students of PACE, want Dr. Voznyy to come back, or at least have explained to us the reasons for his failure to return.

Seeing this wave of support for Dr. Voznyy brings me so much relief. It proves clearly that he is essential to our academic home and that we will not stay quiet while he is kept away.

Dr. Voznyy was one of the best teachers I've ever had. He made math something not to be afraid of, but joyous about. He's the only reason we were able to survive the class, and he was always so helpful and happy to teach. He was so full of life and so incredibly smart and overall such an amazing teacher. Above all, he was kind. This is not only depressing but unfair, we deserve, if nothing else, to know why we are losing one of the best teachers at the school without even saying goodbye.
My children are deeply upset by Dr Vozny's dismissal. I resent the way this was handled: a one-way email, tersely sent after the school is closed for 3 weeks. Now we, the parents, have to comfort our children but can offer no explanation for why this happened.
Why should PACE take away one of our favourite teachers without any explanation or reason whatsoever? Dr. Voznyy has taught me valuable, if not priceless skills in grade 5 and his teaching skill and patience is unparalleled! This is unjust and must either be explained or reversed! Bring Dr. Voznyy back!
One of the most talented teachers I have ever had the honour of meeting. Dr. Voznyy is an engaging, involved, and exceptionally dedicated to his students and school. Without stating any valid reason for his being "[un]able to fulfill the requirements necessary for the position at P.A.C.E", we students have no reason to agree with this poor decision of letting go such a brilliant teacher.
I did not learn or appreciate math until Dr. Voznyy taught it. His expertise is necessary for building a strong basis for succeeding in university.

I actually can't believe you're not going to be there after the break. I just wanted to wish you the best of luck in whatever you do, and let you know that I've never had a math teacher as great as you. I'll never forget all your hilarious jokes about your cats, your complaints about Interstellar, all the times you ripped into nick, the pooms, the pink pens, the foil, the factoring, the f(u), the tung goli and dhaliwals laws, and your crazy guitar skills. Although sometimes I felt wrecked in class (especially integrals, I'll try my best to survive that), I know that what was more important than the tests, is that we actually learned and understood the material. I promise to #nevergiveup, because I know if I do, I will without a doubt get poomed. Hopefully one day we'll see each other again (maybe in florida with Danesh), and eat hot buns together, from Lagos.

Dr. Max Voznny was, and will always be, my inspiration for waking up in the morning. His zest for life and mission to 'never give up' got me excited in ways that I have never felt before. Despite being considered 'that weird dork' in a school full of weird dorks, Dr Voznyy made me feel alive. Thank you Doctor. For everything.
