This petition has been started by myself, Tara in order to help convince my husband, Elliott that the family dog should be a beautiful Dalmatian named Cortana.
Cortana is an 8 month old puppy who is fully vetted including spay, has been housebroken, and is well trained already. She is calm, but also playful and great with kids. Cortana adapts well to different environments and because of her demeanor, she would make an amazing family pet as well as the perfect Therapy Dog.
Elliott feels there should only be one family dog and has his heart set on a Bull Terrier. However, it is well known that dogs have a pack-mentality... this means that dogs prefer to not be alone. It would be much more beneficial for any dog to have a companion when the human part of the “pack” is not home for the day due to school and work. Bull Terriers are also notoriously stubborn dogs and Cortana would be a very good role model for a future Bull Terrier that we get!
I have also ensured that Cortana (and the potential Bull Terrier) would have a doggy sitter, groomer, and trainer at no cost.
It is my belief that Cortana would be a perfect fit for our family. She already does great with Melanie and loves other dogs, and she has a tons of potential to make a lot of people happy.
Please help me convince my husband that we should take this amazing dog into our home and our hearts!

CORTANA IS ADORABLE! Two dogs are way less work than one anyway because they tire each other out. Good luck Tara!
Dogs definitely are social animals and theyll keep each other company when nobodies home.
I believe my Nieces need a dog in their lives. And Elliott you know you would love to have a Dalmatian.
I had a dalmatian when I was a little girl. He was a fun, playful, loving and loyal dog.
Absolutely a perfect plan; I have one really stubborn (special needs) Basenji dog that was ‘trained’ by my super smart Boston!
Cortana is such a sweet girl, she would be a great addition to the family.
