About May of last year our fluffy Bernese mountain dog Lola had to be put down. Lola was a great study buddy, carpet, friend, and makeshift human. We miss her a lot.
We did not want to get another dog right away, because we really were sad about Lola. However, its been several months that our house has been dogless and I think its time for change.
The only roadblock in getting a new dog is my mother, who despite sending me dog pictures everyday, insists she will not get a new dog.
I'm trying to get 1000 signatures in order to convince my mom that new floof is in order.

The petition reached the threshold needed to initiate a formal presentation to my mother. I am now drafting the proposal package to demonstrate the level of public interest in this household addition.

I fully support this cause and due to the close proximity of our homes I will even offer my dog walking and dog sitting services. Let's get a puppy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I believe Elyssa definitely needs a study buddy especially with an upcoming heavy course load . I fully support her quest
I haven't known Elyssa for too long, however, what I do know about her, besides her internal and external beauty, is that she's responsible, a dog-lover, and is someone that deeply deserves a dog.
Motion for every petitioner to have a chance to walk this "new floof" once the goal is hit!
I miss Lola very much :(, she was honestly the only dog I ever really loved. She made some very hard nights much happier with her fluffiness <3. I can't wait to have another dog to play/study/lie on the floor with. Please make this happen before bar (I will need happiness in my life then).

A canine addition to the family is a must. No home is complete without a trusty dog!
