Every 2 min a child is diagnosed with cancer yet every year our funding for research goes down. Las Vegas is an amazing city of strength, support and love for our community but we need to help our future. Our kids will continue to be affected by childhood cancer until we find a cure. Let's be Vegas Strong and come together to help fund research for our local kids. Currently we have only one clinic helping all of our oncology kids but also blood disorders. Lets help them expand and fund research in order to give our kids a fighting chance. We would love to fund the research by creating a childhood cancer awareness license plate. 100% of the proceeds will go to benefitting research and helping our local kids get better treatment. I have been staring at the design mockups for these license plates for hours and honestly it is just hard to believe we might actually pull this off. Someone sent me a message today about their own experience with the clinic and reading it while making coffee reminded me why this needs to happen right now because those kids deserve so much better than what we are currently giving them.

Lost my grandson, mostly due to him having to take adult chemo. It’s a shame more research/funding isn’t directed to our children.
The clinic here in Vegas and it's amazing Dr. Waseem and staff helped to save my sweet boys life. He only had maybe a couple more weeks to live, when Dr. Waseem found the cancer and my son is now 3 years cancer free!
My son Kaysen battled Osteosarcoma. He is a survivor and I’d love the idea of recognizing his journey on a license plate.
There is no children’s hospital here and the one clinic we do have gets so overwhelmed that the doctors can not concentrate enough on the kids that they make mistakes. These mistakes shouldn’t be happening some of them could cost us our kids lives. We need more awareness here in Nevada
My son Nik was DX with TCell ALL a year and half ago, we need better standards of care here in NV and we need a children's hospital! Our kids deserve more than 4% funding, our NV kids deserve a fighting chance!
Yes please give children a chance at Life. Research & find chemos or alternative medicine to heal children's cancers of many different types!! It's so sad what these kids endure& much suffering.

My nephew hadto be taken out of state to be properly cared for and it ended up being too late. More awareness is definitely needed!
