Was just talking about this today! We do a big garden every year and I would love to be able to do chickens to have fresh eggs! Responsible owners should be given the chance to do this! Galt!

This is a progressive and eco conscious way to help prevent food insecurity in less well off families. Also a good way to make use of scraps, chickens are omnivores so they will eat almost anything.

Why is the rest of the region allowed but not Cambridge? It's time for Cambridge council to realize the benefits allowed to the rest of the region should be allowed here!!

I grew up having rabbits, pigeons, ducks and chickens in Toronto. If a city like Toronto was able to have them, a city which was originally very agricultural should be able to also. I moved to Cambridge in 2011, literally 5 mins from my house someone had cattle.
So it can be done.
