As long as no roosters & limits on how many you can have I'm all for this. Also need to maybe have spaces inspected to ensure animals will be taken care of properly.

Given that caged chickens are still a decade away from being phased out I'm all for a local "rebellion." P.S. get my eggs from the Mennonites since free range is not just better tasting but better for you.

Everyone should have the freedom to produce their own food. We have an acre outside of city limits and are nearly self sustained. This is key to our survival as a single income family. Healthy eating is a right not a privilege and being limited to grocery stores makes that impossible for too many people.

We have been looking for the opportunity to approach council about allowing a few chickens in backyard coops! My daughter was hoping to come to council with a proposal. Please allow people to have this small ability to grow food for our families.
