Chickens would be very welcome here! Even if we capped it or limited that ppl could only have 4-6 chickens.

I don't currently live in Cambridge, but we are considering moving there. However, the bylaw may prevent me from seriously considering where, as having chickens is a must for us!

Dear City of Cambridge, please change the law and allow us to have a chicken coop in our back yard. Jay and Ninfa Littman

I have taken care of a relative's chickens...different zoning...very clean operations, no smell, well kept, secure not to mention the sustainability. The city government is very pro-development; its time to balance that with some bylaws to support sustainable development. I fully support backyard chickens.

Would love to have a community of backyard chickens. Don't mind if neighbourhood has chickens.

Considering nearly every neighbor town and city allows this... CAMBRIDGE needs to wake up and change the by-law so that we too are allowed this! This alone makes me want to relocate my family elsewhere,... wake up cambridge

I love chickens. My girls are so sweet and gentle and fun for kids to learn about. Baby chickens are the sweetest. I am a crazy chicken lady and this affect my desicion to move to Cambridge. This is a big factor holding me back from commiting to this city.

Are there any new developments now that Kitchener is reviewing their bylaw? http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/kitchener-waterloo/kitchener-backyard-chickens-proposed-bylaw-city-hall-1.3830609

Is there anything that I can do to help encourage the city to allow chickens in our backyard? Galt
