Outraged! As a fellow pupil, I never really enjoyed many lessons, but my physics lessons were always enjoyable and fun, Mr West made my physics lessons great, he had time, patience and he is a fantastic teacher, you don't get many of those these days. It's case needs to be looked at again, and pupils need to have their say and they need to be heard. Good teachers are hard to find, this man is great!
My comments are the same as the majority of other students messages, a great teacher and more importantly person has been fired for an unfortunate,harmless accident and deserves to be handed his job back. I hope people with the power to do so act upon the hundreds of people wanted Mr.West back.

I was aware he was suspended a few weeks ago and honestly thought he would be back working at the school by now. It is a mockery that he has lost his job. The board have made a terrible decision, common sense has not prevailed.

Teaching is a peculiar job where any number of accidents can occur. A one off accident in the middle of years of excellent service should not call for the end of someone's employment.
