I have taught there and he was loved by staff and pupils. He was also the best teacher of some of my closest friends including ones who weren't that well engaged at school by most teachers.

if all the pupils want Mr West back then make sure their pleas are heard, as its not often pupils want a teacher back.

A very bad decision by the panel with damaging consequences all round - consequences massively worse than the original accident.

From what I've heard he was a very good teacher and was an inspiration to his pupils and they learnt a lot with him BRING HIM BACK!!!

Not many good teachers around that inspire kids these days.
