Mr West was there before I started in 97. Never heard a single bad word about him. Shocking decision to sack him for an accident like this. Bring him back.

I always loved Mr West's lessons, he made a subject that did not come natural to me fun and exciting.

A cowardice knee-jerk reaction, the amount that man has given to the school over how many years, clearly inspired so many people and they sack him without a moments thought? Unbelievable.

This is terrible, a man who has inspired so many young people, should not be penalised in this way! No pupils have made a complaint!

the best teacher ive ever he made lessons interesting. at school I was never the brightest I failed all my gcse's apart from two which were in food tec and science if it wasn't for Mr West I wouldn't of got into college as they couldn't accept students with just 1 GCSE now im at uni doing studying HND music which will hopefully lead onto a degree thank you Mr West

we dont have enough good physics teachers. when we get one that goesbout of his way to onterest amd motivate the kids we sack him. not a great motivation or message to other teachers.

Was the best science teacher, as he made learning fun and interactive. Which is what it should be nowadays! Also a brillant head of year when in Year 7! Brilliant teacher and a model to pupils

He was an absolute asset to the school and was a leading edge with a fresh view on modern teaching techniques. A friendly face who has suffered because of a gutless decision. Bring Westy back!

A complete accident, surely Mr West was doing his best to make learning fun and as engaging as possible!!! Rather than using a text book!!! All the peoples comments I've read both old and young share the same view...that he should be reinstated and I think personally publicly apologised to!!! His good name being dragged through the mud!!!!!!
