Any teacher who can inspire pupils ought to have the right to practise their profession and that inspiration shouldn't be denied to pupils on account of a mistake.

I can't believe this teacher made one mistake and he is dismissed, other teachers have done far worse and they are still working. Let common sense prevail re-instate the teacher

It is such a shame that Mr West is in this situation. Unfortunately it lends to the fact that we are all human and not unlikely to make a poor decision every now and again, shown in the decision taken to dismiss him.

I'm afraid this is what you get for allowing women to stand as priests you dirty rubber wearing Anglicans. Catholicism is the truth, the way and the light. Once you realise this, Mr West will have his job back. That is all.

Well where do I start, Mr West believed in ever one of his students he teach when I was at school, if it wasn't for him I wouldn't be where I am today at university doing my nursing degree ! Not only did he teach science, he taught me motivation and drive ! He helped me more then works can say ! On d of e he also made that funny :) bring back westy !!!

Mr West inspired me to pursue a career in Physics, and I am disappointed in S Peter's taking this decision, which doesn't serve to benefit anyone. He's a great teacher who deserves the opportunity to do his job.

Mr.west taught both of my children and we are horrified that such an extreme action as the loss of his job should result from this accident. ai would refer those who took this action to the school's mission statement. '.....Christian community built on unconditional love, Courage,Trust, and FORGIVENESS.......' Reinstate him and pray he agrees to come back.
