What an excellent teacher who demonstrated how science works rather than just teaching theory. How can any responsible governing body sack such a good teacher?.

Mr West has educated all of our 3 children, not only in Physics but also in life skills. He is proof that education can be fun and enjoyable. All our children have the highest respect for him and we would support Mr West returning to S.Peters

My sons' school has an inspirational chemistry teacher much like this chap sounds, and I completely support his right to teach creatively at some minor risk.
Possibly foolish but he should have received a Final Written Warning rather than Dismissal.

They would fire a fun and passionate teacher and allow slobs who sit and don't teach anything to be promoted.

He is one of the most loved teachers of the school, dedicated to teaching Physics and the extra-curricular D of E. He is dedicated to his job but also to the students he teaches. I can safely say that whoever came into contact with Mr West has benefited from his teaching, advice and friendship. He is not just a teacher but an inspiration to many, and should continue to for many years. Bring back Westy!

I wouldnt have chosen Physics at A level let alone for my degree if it wasnt for this man. Brilliant teacher. Not to mention the amount of pupils he got involved in the Bridgenorth sponsored walks and the 'Platinum DofE' trips to the Pyrenees. My experience of S Peters would not have been the same without him.
