Mr West taught me physics. He's the reason I did it at A-level. He's a wonderful, engaging teacher and I find it sad that he has not been reinstated for a freak accident.

If teachers are going to start being sacked for genuine honest mistakes then you risk youngsters being put off entering into the career for fear of losing a job due to a honest mistake, he clearly has a good reputation and wiping all that away after years of service because of a small mistake does not make sense.

Honestly Mr West is one of the most down to earth and fun teachers i have ever come across.. He's got such a clean heart and he does not deserve this dismissal thats simply based on a pure accident at all!! He would never intentionally harm a student...he needs to be back at S.Peters where he truly belongs!
