The Elkhorn Public School District has banned the Non-Partisan News Channel The World From A to Z, for reasons that are not clear and seem to have excessive punishment. It helped many of the students stay up to date with current events, while remaining politically unbiased on the stories, especially on stories about government and foreign affairs. If we are able to get enough signatures, then we can get The World From A to Z back in the EPS District!

I used to go to this district, even though i moved away i do still care about this and it is very important to educate people about a crises and things happening right in front of them that could effect them for the foreseeable future, or people they know.
A-Z was the most effective way of teaching kids what is happening in the world. A few topics were controversial and unbiased. No political stories shown on A-Z are stories students wouldn't see on the news that night. Mind you biased opinions on the news. Now 1,000s of students are missing out on the opportunity to be educated on things happening in the world, good or bad. A-Z meant a lot to students. sincerely, a unhappy student, Mary Arledge
A to Z was some of the kids' only way of knowing what was going on in the world, and nothing on A to Z was offensive! The student should be able to simply leave the room if they feel uncomfortable.
Please make sure that comments are respectful and focused on the topic of this petition.
bring it back, just because someone complained about the fact that it was providing a non-biased report to inform students doesn’t mean that they should bear the power to ruin it for all of us.

Not allowing us to have access to the facts about our world means that they are suppressing us. They are trying to limit our knowledge and control us. This is unconstitutional and we will not stand for it. They are violating our rights.
