A good friend of ours named Nick Ciuffo decided to take his career to the next level and become a state police officer for the state of Massachusetts. We are proud of his accomplishment but his personality and attitude has changed for the worse. He now acts like he’s better than all of the people he surrounds himself with because of his job title/pay. We just want our friend back to normal

I have been reading through all your stories about how Nick has drifted away from the people who were there for him long before the uniform. It is painful to realize so many of us feel the same coldness now. We are still holding out hope that he remembers who he truly is once the ego fades.

Seeing this gain traction reminds me that I am certainly not alone in missing the friend Nick used to be. It is humbling to see so many people acknowledge that he has drifted away from the person we all knew and loved.

Honestly he owes my friend money. Now that he’s getting paid handsomely he refuses to pay. I hope this makes him pay his debt owed. The old nick would’ve paid with interest if he was ever late/forgot to pay someone.
