As a concerned parent and tax payer of this school district I find the terms of this teacher's firing unacceptable. He forewarned and solicited releases in order to view the movie. This individual who after being forewarned and returning a signed release then comes forward with a complaint about the content they were forwarned about and had to have a release to watch should have absolutely NO grounds to force this teacher's termination.

Mr. Maxwell is a amazing teacher & asset to our school it would be a shame to lose him over something so little. He cares about his students & that is very visable. Love this man in our childs life & would hate to see other students miss out on this wonderful teacher. Please bring him back.

I couldn’t even begin to list the things this amazing teacher has taught me. He taught me a ton of educational material but the biggest thing he taught me is how to be confident in speaking to an audience. He worked with me until I was comfortable enough to do presentations and even just interact with the class in a normal setting.
