He should never have been fired. He is a good teacher and in all means, he takes issues very well in addressing them. If teachers should be fired over a kid getting affended, than ever single teacher in existence should be out of a job. Its hard enough to teach when teachers are under a constant threat of being fired for saying or doing something that need to be addressed even if it is offensive. Please reconsider

Coach Maxwell is a favorite coach and teacher. As a parent and past educator, I see him as the kind of teacher that is a dying breed. He goea above and beyond what is required of him and makes whatever he is doing with the students fun and entertaining while still getting his job done. We need more teachers like him, but instead we are pushing him away. Very disappointed in this administration!

Yeah he had a mistake but not one over losing his job for. He has a family he supports for and he is such a cool kind hearted person who owned up to his mistake

Mr. Maxwell was an inspiring teacher when I had him in class in 2012. It is a shame to see him lose his job because of a naive parent and student.

He should not have to leave because someone said something that wasnt true about him. Yes he may say things that teachers probably shouldbt say but that shouldn't be a reason you make him resign

I never had Maxwell as a teacher, but I had him as a coach for four years. He is passionate about his job and he cares about students. I am saddened that he has been forced to resign, definitely one of my favourite teachers in this school
